Daripada ngecek data satu-satu, biarkan spreadsheet yang kasih tahu lewat warna: stok menipis jadi merah, lunas jadi hijau, jatuh tempo nyala. Conditional formatting bikin tabelmu “ngomong” sendiri — dan ngaturnya gampang. Kita bahas dari aturan siap pakai sampai rumus khusus.
Instead of checking data one by one, let the spreadsheet tell you with color: low stock turns red, paid turns green, due dates light up. Conditional formatting makes your table “talk” — and it's easy to set up. We cover it from ready-made rules to custom formulas.
The human eye catches color far faster than numbers. A cell that auto-turns red when stock drops below a threshold makes you notice instantly without reading every row. It turns a passive table into a mini dashboard that warns you on its own.
Blok selnya, lalu buka menu Format → Pemformatan bersyarat. Panel muncul di kanan. Pilih aturannya (misal “lebih besar dari”), isi nilai pembandingnya, lalu pilih warna isi/teks. Selesai — warnanya nyala otomatis sesuai isi sel, dan ikut berubah begitu datanya berubah.Select the cells, then open Format → Conditional formatting. A panel appears on the right. Pick the rule (e.g. “greater than”), enter the comparison value, then choose a fill/text color. Done — the color lights up automatically by the cell's value, and changes as the data changes.
Ada banyak pilihan jadi yang nggak butuh rumus sama sekali:There are plenty of built-in options needing no formula at all:
Contoh mewarnai seluruh baris kalau stok habis: =$C2=0. Pakai tanda $ di depan kolom ($C2) biar seluruh baris ikut terwarnai berdasarkan nilai di kolom C, bukan cuma satu sel.For something smarter, pick “Custom formula is”. E.g. color a whole row when stock is zero: =$C2=0. Use the $ before the column ($C2) so the entire row colors based on column C's value, not just one cell.
Custom formulas open many doors: color rows due within 3 days (=$D2<=TODAY()+3), or flag transactions above average (=$E2>AVERAGE($E:$E)). As long as the formula returns TRUE/FALSE, it works.
The “Color scale” tab gives an automatic gradient from low values (say red) to high (green). Perfect for spotting high and low numbers at a glance in a daily sales table or student scores — like a heatmap. No thresholds needed; it adapts to the data.
On a stock sheet, set rules: stock < minimum turns red, safe stock turns green. On a receivables sheet, set: a past due date turns red, one within 3 days turns yellow. When you open the file each morning, whatever needs action immediately “shouts” via color.
Satu tabel biasa berubah jadi alat pemantau harian tanpa perlu dashboard rumit.Paired with a filter or sort, you can gather all the reds at the top. One ordinary table becomes a daily monitoring tool without a complex dashboard.
Tips: Jangan kebanyakan warna — maksimal 2-3 aturan per tabel. Tip: Don't overdo colors — max 2-3 rules per table. Too many colors confuse the eye and the important signal gets lost. Use a bold contrast for the most critical (red) and soft colors for the rest.
(4) Warna dari copy-paste ikut kebawa; kalau format aneh, hapus lewat Format → Hapus pemformatan.(1) Rule order wins — if two rules hit the same cell, the top one applies; set the order. (2) Wrong range — make sure “Apply to range” covers all data rows, including new ones. (3) Performance — hundreds of custom-formula rules on huge data can slow the file; merge rules where you can. (4) Colors from copy-paste come along; if formatting looks odd, clear it via Format → Clear formatting.
Kasus umum & aturannya:Common cases & their rules:
| KebutuhanNeed | AturanRule |

Conditional formatting is makeup that works: set it once, it lights up forever. Start with one stock or status rule, then add slowly — your table turns into a living monitor.
